Differences between arts of film “board” and “council” (Stephany Diaz Cartagena)

There are different organizations that primarily help promote the film industry in different parts of the world, but these are adapted two deferential terms, which make these create a different direction in the way they support the industry. These are divided into "council" and "board"
To start we must keep in mind that these are cinematographic organizations founded by different states, and although its functions and performances are very similar but each has different characteristics depending on whether they are board or council.

There are several organizations in the world, the most recognized organizations are: NFB (The National Film Board of Canada), Irish film board, UK film council. I will use as an examples the council British film and the Irish Film Board, and use them to compere the functions and the differences and similarities that the arts or films “council” and  ”board” organizations has, and how each one of them help in their ones countries the art not just on the film industry, but obviously mainly in this one.

The "council" film chiefly act as a link between the films made in this case in the UK and the rest of the world, promoting and supporting British films in the international market. This has a network of partners around the world to not only develop film projects if not also festivals, seminars, lectures, workshops and in the UK / European film weeks, multiple art festivals, etc. So, not only supports cinema, but also other art forms. But although they support the arts in the UK, these organizations do not invest in the development or production of films, or provide subsidies to allow directors to attend vocational training courses. For example the UK Film Council represents the UK as part of the European Film Promotion (EFP), a network of European agencies and export promotion to promote European cinema and the talent behind it worldwide. They provide pre-release services, in the case of the British film council, which supports at major film festivals, including Berlin, Cannes, Toronto and Sundance.
Organizations film "board" are national development agencies for films, television and animation industry and investment in talent, creativity and enterprise. In the case of the Irish Film Board, these supports writers, directors and production companies in the development, production and distribution of film projects, television and animation Irish, in order to promote and help develop the art. The IFB also supports and promotes Irish industry from major markets and festivals such as Sundance, Berlin, Toronto, Venice and Cannes. Also it promotes not only internal but also external investment for various projects, mainly cinematographic, but also other projects that are within the artistic field and help the development of culture and art in Ireland.
The agency offers a strategic vision for industry training through the screen Formation Ireland, so not only provides the money for the implementation of projects but also helps the realization of these are made under a plan and a strategy organized to the success of the projects.
Since now we can show that these two organizations or agencies support and promote the film industry, however they do it from different ways, but with some similar methods, especially can demonstrate the difference in the fact that the support IFB not only in industry person promoting their work, but also provides funding and support of the organization, so that manages to be getting wider, more recognized and successful day.

These organizations are created because of the consciousness that has in terms of economic power that this industry means for different countries, for example on the side of film british council:
- UK film contributes over £ 4.6 billion to UK GDP and supported over 117,000 jobs (up from 100,000 in 2009).

- The UK film industry employs almost 44,000 people directly (up from 36,000 in 2009)

- Films depicting the UK are responsible for generating around a 10th of overseas tourism revenues, estimating around £ 2.1 billion that of visitor spend a year is attributable to UK film. These are some of the economic points that the film industry brings to UK.

And in the case of IFB:
