Foreign names in the industry - Daniela Muñoz Giraldo.

Since the early twentieth century the American film industry is the epicenter of cinema worldwide. Its film productions manage to be seen worldwide.
The film industry is quite related to the evolution of the technical and social media of the twentieth century, in other words is the industry with greater capacity of mental, intellectual, imagination, and even the people’s dreams control.
From the economic point of view financial capacity and power of Hollywood is huge, it is that big that making a comparison with film producers worldwide competition is almost nil. The investment that this industry makes on advertising and propagation of its content is quite high, so they get lots of profits, not only for movies but also for their work in marketing, tourism and consumer products that lie in the propaganda.
A very important reason from the economic point of view are the high wages paid to actors, and for this same reason is that actors from another countries migrate to Hollywood in search of better opportunities. This industry is home to actors from all over the world and they are a fundamental piece of Hollywood’s image, therefore they are tied to the clever marketing ploys aimed at his image.
From a political point of view, Hollywood continually proposes a homogeneous vision of the world and exposes the American dream. At the same time it tries to persuade to the world, the US solidarity position with the most vulnerable, always being heroes.
Culturally, Hollywood has imposed the "entertainment" from an American view of the world, with a bunch of features of their own language, and thus forcing the world to understand. Each and every one of its films have hidden intentions to globalize entertainment, with the firm threatens to homogenize the world and make it a great American colony when thinking.
Hollywood, at the same time is the main cause and promoter of the great success of the English language around the world; the industry promotes and subconsciously forces their audiences, arouses a need and interest in learning more about American culture.
Another notable observation are the subliminal incentives offered by brands in partnership with industry, the case of companies like Walmart, that invests large amounts of money on advertising embedded in the images of the films. Similarly, the huge amount of tobacco companies make similar investments for their sponsorship clandestinely in film productions.
Its artistic contribution lies in the large overhead of special effects and high content of sex and violence. In fact, its actors, who are the most famous worldwide, have, in many cases, a very poor performance but its camouflaged by the editors and edition that Hollywood has. Movies’ arguments are decreasing in an artistic and conceptual level, by exposing its audiences to vain productions and to an easily mental change, move and disturb.

Hollywood corrupts the world's youth, attacking moral values from all social views, prompting them to commit crimes, drink of alcohol, smoke and consume psychoactive substances, and even premature sexual-uncontrolled pregnancies. Despite this, the American film industry became a indestructible global entertainment. It affects several actions taken by any subject in many parts of the world.
There are priorities for the industry that keep expanding entertainment options and possible culturalisation capacity. Although not seem visible or accessible, there are much more reasonable and training alternatives; put aside a little of the supposed American culture and focus on real events purposes involving the social context itself.

According to Alejandro Pardo on the book The Europe-Hollywood Coopetition: Cooperation and Competition in the Global Film Industry on chapter 5.3 “Hollywood wants and needs the globaltalent for a number of reasons”. First of all, “for producing high-quality output in entertainment industries” and specially in regard to those directors “who have already demonstrated a full grasp of theHollywood style”. In addition, “to weaken various local filmindustries that can pose a threat”. And at the same time, as a way of “servicing the local markets of the filmmakers’ native countries”.This ‘talent traffic’ is also two-way, especially in the case of actors and actresses.
